Volunteer Roles

BDCF Ambassador - Serve as a liaison between BDCF and your school by starting a club, raising awareness, etc. An ideal candidate is a respectable leader, communicator, and role model in their community.

Tutoring Team - Teach virtual Zoom classes to children or create videos of you teaching to be shared with our children (Team Captain - Aparna Lakshmi - alakshmi2@gmail.com)

Journalist Team - Author short articles about topics of their choosing related to climate change, youth, or other acceptable categories (Team Captain - Jonathan Ortiz - jonathanorth07@gmail.com)

Research Team - Conduct primary and secondary source scientific research aligned with current BDCF research projects (recent topics have involved engineering and biology) or design your own project (Team Captain - Anika Anjum - kiaanjum12@gmail.com)

Fundraising Team - Brainstorm fundraising, grants, or other ideas and implement them to raise monetary support for the nonprofit (Team Captain - Lamisa Tahmid - lamisa221@gmail.com)
